An Open Mic event sponsored by the Watauga Public Library will start October 3rd being held the first Thursday of every month. The kick-off event will be October 3, 2019 from 5:30 to 7 pm with a social hour to follow at the Lost Province Brewery.
The October 3rd event has already been booked with local writers Earl LeClaire- The Only Resolve, and other titles, ReVonda Crow, Grace Wakeman, Lory Whitehead- reluctant warriors, Mary Tucker, Paula Finck, Frank Thomas, Carey Rowland- Glass half-Full. Coordinator, Maryrose Carroll- Love Poems~Poemas de Amor, and other titles, will give a brief homage to a father of poetry, Robert Bly.

Readers for each evening will be selling their books allowing the audience an opportunity to continue to enjoy their work.
