Open Mic has spoken word right? And not just slam genre, I hope--though I have deep love and respect for those that can do it. I'm just not one of them-I'm a lyricist. I would like to come in and sign up to read--what time is sign up?
Kimberley Ann Rogers (11/2008): No longer quite free: Now asking for a voluntary donations. I don't know why just buying drinks and food isn't ever enough.
T. Fielding (9/2008): Im curious on how I would sign up. would it be on the spot or should I contact someone? What about language?
Azucena (9/2008): Just want to let people know that hosting of the open mic is now done by local artists "Jared Fiske and Amy Herrera". They bring to the open mic a warm supportive attitude, and a real PA!
jared Adams (8/2008): A nice attentive audience. Great host. Great coffee. Be warned: Only one (apparently unidirectional) mic available + a cord to plug into your guitar (if your guitar has pick ups). The sound is very good when you have both going for you. 3 song limit. Free.
