Every Wednesday Larry Salzman and Erik Matson use loops and effects to create ambient soundscapes with keyboard and eclectic percussion instruments from around the world. These layers of sound are created as I project still and moving images onto a 12 foot screen. What we'd like to add to this mix are poets whose words, spontaneously bubbling to the surface of consciousness, would be further mixed into the sound and imagry being created. We record and photograph all performances. There is no art gallery in Orange County like the VIOLETHOUR.
Doors open at 7:00pm
Cover Charge $5.
