- The purpose of Tia Chucha's weeekly open mic night, is to provide the community with a space that is welcoming, nurturing and healing. A place where no one is discriminated against and everyone will be heard if they choose to be. Friday Free Flow is a creative sanctuary where people are encouraged to share their thoughts, feelings and talents through various styles of expression. Whether it be a poem, story, song, joke, freestyle or just something they feel the need to express. Everyone is welcome to be themselves.

Hi, wanted to know how big the place is and if its possible to have singer, guitarist and drummer there.
Thank you, hope to hear from you
Tigran (7/2008)- Tia Chucha's is a very intimate setting with a warm and inviting group of people. It's a place with a nice cultural blend of people. The audience is very appreciative and nearly everyone there takes a turn sharing something. It's also easy access from the freeway. I've talked to many people who have heard of it, but haven't yet checked it out. Be sure to stop by at the new location… it's a great place that deserves some positive recognition and growth.
Sue Kent (6/2008)- Hope to see you there. Jesus loves you. Everything else Annette and Adolfo said above is "Right On!" I have played there a couple of times and will continue to do so in the future. It has a very down to earth atmosphere where you can let your hair down and really express yourself and your talents without anal judgements or criticism. I have seen some incredible performers doing their "own thing," whether it be urban gorilla spoken word assalt of the senses, mellow acoustic guitar and vocals or angelic poetry. A must for all you acoustic guitar players. Oh, and did I mention, the people are wonderful. Bring a friend and check it out!
