This open mic would be an amazing time if coffee grinders weren't going off every 2 minutes. The audience is loud, and more interested in talking while you are playing or smoking outside all night than listening to you play. This place can be fun, but it isn't a place for music. Its a place for coffee.

Well if the guy formerly from the Point in Bryn Mawr is hosting, make sure he remembers to manage the list and keep the acts moving. He left many folks stranded at the Point - I remember seeing many acts wait all night with no time left. Your job, man.

Steel City is a fantastic great listening room where all the up and coming and established artists are playing these days. Great sound, comfortable seating and good food. Leigh Goldstein was the lightly sarcastic comedic host previously at The Point in Bryn Mawr PA for many years before that venue closed.
