Just tried out this open mic tonight. It was pretty good… believe it or not -- nonperformers ACTUALLY walked in OFF THE STREET and watched. Whaaat?? This is because the stage faces a giant opening right to the sidewalk. Great crowd!

hi i was jus browsin and i found this website i love poetry and i was really interested in performing at spike hill, one thing that i wanted to know is how old can you be to perform , is there censorship, and how long to you get to perform???

I stopped into this open mic a couple weeks ago, I was so amazed that this was here, right off the Bedford stop, and the talent was so good! The sound guy is really nice, and the crowd was really supportive. I'd suggest this to anyone, new or established. This one's a keeper.

Hi Spike Hillers -- This Wednesday's Open Mic (July 25th) is canceled to hold one of Anna Stard's incredible weekly film screenings.
