The LOMA open mike occurs on the 2nd Monday of the month (3rd Monday if holiday, closed Jul & Aug). Perform or just come listen to acoustic music and spoken word at the lovely, historic Lincoln Library's Tarbell room at 3 Bedford Road in Lincoln, MA located near the 5-corners (intersection with Trapelo Rd). Admission is FREE and refreshments are provided.
LOMA runs from 7 to 10 pm. A featured performer plays 1/2 hour set starting around 8:30. Performers can sign up at the event or email Rich Eilbert at loma3re@gmail.com (before noon of the open-mike day) for a slot. Names of those who are signed up by 7:15 will be drawn at random. We have a sound system with mikes and instrumental pickups suitable for individuals or small groups playing acoustic-style. Brad Meyer and Brent Clark ably handle the sound. You are encouraged to sign up in advance. We expect everyone will have a chance to perform 1 or 2 pieces.
