mr reliable (4/2008): I just want to let everybody know that I was just there on 5/22/07 and I could feel the love and magical atmosphere at this open mic. first open mic I have been to where the coffee shop is willing to share the profit with all the performers (however small it may be since no one else does this) in the form of a 10% discount on all purchases to all who perform. It is also the first place where I was allowed and asked if I could play an extra song due to the fact that the audience really liked me as opposed to the ones that get to do this because the host and or the open mic sposors likes them (hopefully this exemplary open mic will put some shame, guilt and jelousy in the eyes of other open mic sponsors and hosts).
