How would I go about getting a spot in the open mic? Should I call in advance or just show up?

Signing up is easy. I put out the sign-up sheet at 8:30p.m. every Wed.night. Open mic starts at 9:00. Any questions can be answered by calling me at Baileys at (804)-690-0718. We accommodate just about every kind of set-up and band size. Holiday season brings even bigger crowds than our 50-70 person average so get here early to ensure a time slot. We've been filling up and playing till 1:30a.m. every week to fit everyone in. Contact Joseph

i am a hip hop artist and im interested in your open mic night. how long are your sets? can i bring my instramental cd? how many performers do you have on a usual night?

Very nicely run open mic. Host very accommodating. The crowd is fairly attentive for this type of Sports Bar venue. The restaurant is very large with a main part. The open mic is the extension. The room is very large so plenty of space. Wooden paneling makes acoustics sometimes bounce, but overall good sound. Nice size crowd for a Wednesday night! Waitresses are cute and call you honey and dawlin'.
